This workshop, taught by local photographer Julie Carter, will provide you with an understanding of the skills you need to successfully photograph flowers and gardens. Camera basics, understanding light, exposure, and composition will be covered helping you learn to capture the beauty of your garden. After the discussion, you may roam the gardens at Wren’s Gate Garden & Studio practicing your new skills in the magical early evening light.
Both point-and-shoot cameras and DSLR cameras will be covered, and please leave a comment about which type of camera you will be using for the workshop so Julie will be prepared to help you with your camera.

Julie Carter is a professionally trained photographer with a BA in Art with an emphasis in studio photography. She offers portrait, event, product, food and commercial photography services for private individuals, businesses and organizations.
